In December 2023, it announced that it had merged with Innovative International Acquisition Corporation (IOAC) to establish Zoomcar Holdings Inc.

Zoom worked with auto manufacturers such as Ford and Mahindra, allowing them to be the first automobile rental business in India to provide an electric vehicle (the Mahindra REVA E2O by Mahindra) and the Ford EcoSport “urban SUV by Ford” in 2013. Zoom also collaborates with local real estate developers, colleges, hotels, and corporate IT parks to secure parking and provide pick-up sites for its users.

Zoom, Uber, and the Ashoka Foundation created RideSmartBLR, a month-long campaign in Bangalore to boost vehicle rentals and prevent intoxicated driving for health, economic, and environmental reasons.

Zoom was a participant in Microsoft’s Accelerator Plus program in Bangalore in Spring 2014. This initiative is intended to give more personalized help to late-stage start-ups as they expand their operations and obtain finance.
