In his post, Jadhav said “As we welcome Amit to the growing Raise family, he will be instrumental in driving profitable growth, capital allocation, scalability while ensuring financial discipline across our associate companies and ventures,”

Jadhav also indicated that Raise had achieved an annual revenue run rate (ARR) of $100 million in three operations and he wants Gupta to help raise that number to ten times this in the coming years.

About Raise Financial Services

Raise Financial Services was founded in 2021 by Pravin Jadhav, previously the CEO of Paytm Money. The company has different financial services to offer and operates Dhan, a platform for you who are active & professional traders to trade stock with. Their competitors are Zerodha, Groww and Upstox.

In 2022, Raise Financial Services raised $22 million from investors, including Mirae Asset Venture, Beenext and 3one4 Capital, and others.

Most recently, in May 2025, it was reported that Dhan is talking about raising a further $190–200 million in series C funding which will value the company at more than $1 billion. Reports specify that the expected leads will be ChrysCapital and participants will include Alpha Wave, MUFG, Bharti Group’s family office, together with Harsh Jain’s Dream11.

Raise has also been diversifying its business. Earlier this year, it was acquired by Filter Coffee, a financial news and media startup. Raise also owns Upsurge.club, which is a platform that helps people learn about the stock market.

Now that Amit Gupta has been appointed to the leadership team, Raise Financial Services expects to grow faster and stronger. His financial experience will likely improve the company’s abilities to achieve larger financial goals and sustain a solid financial position as Raise continues to grow.

Conclusion: Amit Gupta’s hiring as Group CFO further strengthens Raise Financial Services leadership team as they intend to grow quickly. His experience should help add to the financial strategies to support the company’s growth plans.
