Oppo has expanded its K-series smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Oppo K14 Lite, a budget-focused handset built around long battery life, a high-refresh-rate display and everyday durability.
The new model is priced at ₹16,999 for its 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration. Buyers using eligible bank offers can receive an instant discount of ₹1,000, bringing the effective starting price down to ₹15,999.
The phone is already available through Flipkart and Oppo’s online store in two colour options, Feather Purple and Stone Brown.
At the centre of the device is a 7,000mAh battery, which is clearly the feature Oppo expects to attract buyers looking for longer usage between charges.
Oppo K14 Lite Price and Availability
The Oppo K14 Lite price in India has been set at ₹16,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
Customers using selected bank cards can claim a ₹1,000 instant discount. That takes the effective purchase price to ₹15,999.
Oppo is also offering a three-month no-cost EMI option. The phone went on sale in India on September 16 and can be purchased through Flipkart and the Oppo e-store.
Feather Purple gives the handset a brighter look, while Stone Brown offers a more understated option.

Those figures will naturally vary depending on brightness, mobile connectivity, background applications and actual usage.
Still, the battery size itself is considerably larger than the 5,000mAh capacity that remains common across many budget smartphones.
The battery supports 15W wired charging. That charging speed is modest considering the large capacity, meaning users should expect a longer charging session compared with phones offering faster 33W, 45W or higher charging systems.
Oppo also includes reverse wired charging, allowing the handset to share power with another compatible device through a cable.
Oppo Claims Long-Term Battery Durability
Battery size is only one part of Oppo’s pitch. The company says the K14 Lite battery is designed to retain more than 80% of its original capacity after 1,800 charge cycles. That is relevant for people planning to keep the phone for several years.
Smartphone batteries gradually lose capacity as they are repeatedly charged and discharged. A larger battery that can maintain a substantial portion of its capacity over time may reduce the need for an early battery replacement.

120Hz Display Leads the Front
The Oppo K14 Lite gets a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1,570 pixels. It supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
A faster refresh rate should make everyday scrolling, menus and supported animations appear smoother than on a traditional 60Hz panel.
The display can reach up to 900 nits of brightness. Oppo has also added features called Splash Touch, Oily-Hand Touch and Glove Touch.

They are relatively small additions, but they fit Oppo’s emphasis on usability rather than purely technical specifications.
Unisoc T7250 Handles Performance
Under the hood, the phone uses the Unisoc T7250 octa-core processor. It is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This is not a configuration aimed at demanding mobile gamers.
Instead, the chipset is better suited to routine tasks such as messaging, social media, video streaming, calls, web browsing and lighter games.
Oppo has included a graphite cooling area measuring up to 13,700 square millimetres to help manage heat during longer sessions.
The handset runs ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. Using a relatively recent Android version at launch gives the K14 Lite a useful advantage for buyers who want current software features without moving into a more expensive device category.

The camera arrangement is straightforward. At the back is a 13-megapixel autofocus camera.
The front gets a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Photography modes include Portrait, Night and Time-Lapse.
Oppo has also added several software-driven tools, including AI Eraser, AI Clear Face and AI Smart Image Matting 2.0.
Google Gemini support is included as well. Rather than adding multiple low-resolution rear sensors simply to increase the camera count, Oppo has kept the setup relatively simple.
