Orders between Rs 2,500 crore and Rs 5,000 crore come within the category of major orders, according to the company’s categorization.

L&T stated in a BSE filing that it has won an order in the United Arab Emirates for the engineering, supply, building, installation, testing, and commissioning of a substation.

The scope also covers control and monitoring systems for transformers, reactors, and substations.

In Kuwait, the company was awarded a contract to build overhead transmission lines and subterranean cable interconnections.

This transmission section with a route length of more than 100 kilometers will aid in the evacuation and generation of electricity.

According to the filing, further orders have been obtained in current substation orders in the area.
