The Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max is currently available at a major discount during Flipkart’s ongoing Sasa Lele Sale, giving buyers a chance to purchase Apple’s premium flagship at a lower effective price. The sale, which went live for all users on May 9, includes price cuts, bank offers, and cashback benefits on several iPhone models.
According to details shared by India Today, the iPhone 17 Pro Max base variant with 256GB storage was originally launched in India at Rs 1,49,900. During the Flipkart sale, the smartphone is listed at Rs 1,34,900, reflecting a direct discount of Rs 15,000.
Customers using Flipkart Axis Bank or Flipkart SBI Bank credit cards can also receive an additional Rs 6,000 discount on a full card swipe transaction. This reduces the price further and brings the total savings to Rs 21,000. Buyers are also eligible for a Rs 4,000 bank cashback, taking the overall benefit to Rs 25,000. With all offers applied, the effective price of the iPhone 17 Pro Max comes down to Rs 1,24,900.
The ongoing summer sales across e-commerce platforms have attracted attention because Apple devices rarely receive steep discounts. Reports indicate that alongside the iPhone 17 Pro Max, other models such as the iPhone 17, iPhone 16, and iPhone Air are also seeing temporary price reductions during the sale period.
India Today reported that Flipkart opened early access to the sale for Plus and Black members on May 8, while the sale became available to all users starting May 9. The report also noted that the discounts come at a time when smartphone makers are increasing prices of devices due to RAM shortages.
On the specifications front, the iPhone 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch display and is powered by Apple’s A19 Pro chipset. The device uses Apple’s Ceramic Shield 2 protection layer and includes an anti-reflective coating aimed at improving outdoor visibility.
The smartphone also comes with triple 48-megapixel rear cameras supported by Apple’s Fusion technology. Reports state that the primary, telephoto, and ultra-wide cameras are designed to deliver strong performance across different lighting conditions, while video recording remains one of the device’s major highlights.
