The ‘Bharat GPT’ program, a ground-breaking effort in partnership with the Indian Institute of Technology-Bombay, is about to be launched by telecom operator Reliance Jio Infocomm. This initiative, which was unveiled by Reliance Jio chairman Akash Ambani, intends to use massive language models and generative artificial intelligence (GPT) to revolutionize a number of national industries.

According to PTI, Within Jio’s larger ambition, dubbed “Jio 2.0,” which centers on building an all-encompassing ecosystem of development, is the Bharat GPT program. Since its inception in 2014, the program in partnership with IIT Bombay has sought to investigate the immense possibilities that artificial intelligence presents for fostering innovation across a wide range of goods and services.

Artificial intelligence’s influence was underscored by Akash Ambani, who predicted that generative AI and massive language models will be the key technologies of the upcoming decade. He called attention to the continuous efforts to incorporate AI both horizontally across all industries and vertically within the company.

Ambani disclosed that Reliance Jio is creating its own television operating system (OS) in addition to the Bharat GPT program. The goal of this operating system is to improve user experience on Jio devices and add to the service ecosystem offered by the firm.

Ambani stated that the business is dedicated to introducing innovative goods and services in a number of industries, such as media, gadgets, commerce, and communication. He revealed that Jio has been working hard on its television operating system and that extensive preparations are being made for its release.

Additionally, Akash Ambani emphasized the role artificial intelligence would play in defining the future, pointing out that AI will be incorporated into every facet of goods and services. Speaking to businesses of all sizes, he discussed the company’s emphasis on developing a 5G stack for private networks and reaffirmed Jio’s dedication to advancing technology in India.

According to PTI, During his speech, Ambani expressed his belief that India has the capacity to grow its economy to be worth USD 6 trillion by the end of the next 10 years and referred to it as the “biggest innovation center” during that period. He emphasized artificial intelligence’s inclusiveness by referring to it as “all included” in addition to artificial intelligence.
