This very team of five members founded the startup GalaxEye Space in 2020 which claims to be working on World’s first Multi-Sensor Imaging Satellite. GalaxEye Space; an IIT Madras incubated startup for earth observation has raised $3.5 Mn in the seed round led by deep tech VC firm Special Invest. The founders of GalaxEye Space were part of Team Avishkar Hyperloop, a group of students at IIT Madras, brought together for a global competition conducted by American billionaire Elon Musk’s aerospace manufacturer and space transportation services company SpaceX. Avishkar Hyperloop was the only Asian team to be represented at the finale of Spacex Hyperloop 2019.

The five-member team that is charting the path for GalaxEye Space Solutions Pvt Ltd are Suyash Singh, Co-Founder & CEO; Denil Chawda Co-Founder & CTO; Rakshit Bhatt, Vice President, Computing; Kishan Thakkar, Vice President, Product Development; and Pranit Mehta, Vice President, Business Development.

Startup will use the proceeds of seed fund to launch the world’s 1st multi-sensor satellite and hire new employees. According to startup’s Twitter account announcement; other than special Invest; seed round also had the participation of Artha India Ventures, Veda VC, Anicut Capital, Upsparks, and a consortium of entrepreneurs that comprises Nithin Kamath (founder of Zerodha), Prashant Pitti (founder of EaseMyTrip), Abhishek Goyal (founder of Tracxn) and Ganapathy Subramaniam (partner at Celesta Capital). https://twitter.com/GalaxEy
