Gurugram base, Dessert-led café brand FES Café has raised ₹3 crore in the seed funding round. Aakash Anand, founder of BellaVita and Wolfpack Labs, led the round.
The company stated the additional capital will help it widen its footprint in more cities. It’ll roll out its first outlet in Delhi in July, as well as another in Gurugram in September 2025. FES Café has also set a benchmark of over 100 outlets in FY 2027 across Tier 1 and Tier 2 Indian cities.
A Café Inspired by Dessert and Community
FES Café, founded by Vidur Mayor, has a large variety of eggless desserts. The desserts include cookies, puddings, alternative ingredient cakes, and seasonal desserts. The café also provides savoury food options in addition to sweets.
What FES Café does that is different has to do with their distinct brand and way of doing business. The brand identifies itself as a “third space”, meaning a place outside of work or home where you can come relax, connect, and have fun. The café is full of fun things to interact with – including an arcade game area, and burn-out events that are community-centered, such as Coffee Raves, open mic nights, and others.
The overall intention is to have a fun and economical environment that centres around culture, food, and community.
The Remarkable Early Performance
When it started its operation, FES Café experienced tremendous early success. According to the company:
- The Revenue tripled in the first three months
- The Delivery revenue increased by 347% in just 90 days
- Fourth month store-level EBITDA was 29.8%
- Successful EBITDA-positive at the company level by the end of four months
- By June 2025, it was processing over 10,000 orders per month
The demand for its desserts and the expenditure control lead are evident in these figures.
The Vision for the Future
The FES Café is exploring both COCO (Company-Owned Company-Operated) and FICO (Franchisee-Invested Company-Operated) models to facilitate future expansion. It is also developing delivery-focused hubs and packaged dessert options in order to serve customers beyond physical locations.
With solid backing, a great vision, and a growing fan base, FES Café is aspiring to be the largest dessert café chain in India in the next few years.
