Mumbai, Early-stage venture capital fund All In Capital has rolled out its second startup pitch event, The Elevator Pitch 2.0, to back young startups, especially those from small towns and cities across India.
The Elevator Pitch is a one-minute live pitch event for an early-stage startup to cope with investors learning about them. The event is open to early-stage startups across all sectors and emphasizes founders from Tier II & Tier III cities and founders without traditional startup pedigree.
The first edition of this event took place in Delhi, receiving approximately 300 applications in total. Ultimately, the organizing committee selected 15 startups that pitched live via Zoom (and one of those startups actually received direct investment). Some of the selected startup participants range from just as far as Bihar and Jodhpur and other places across India.
All In Capital is the firm founded by Aditya Singh, whose intention is to unearth and nurture talented founders early in their startup journey. With Elevator Pitch 2.0, the firm wants to nurture startups that normally do not have access to thousands of large networks or funding for their ventures.
Startups can apply for the event publicly. The team at All In Capital will review the applications and choose 15 startups based on the strength of their team, the strength of their product, and early indicators of market potential. The selected startups will receive assistance in creating a one-minute pitch video. The pitch videos will be evaluated and the top selected ones will pitch live at the event.
All In Capital has dedicated Rs 5 crore to fund the selected startups; and the firm is also collaborating with investors to scale the initiative.
The next event will be at the end of July in Bengaluru. Startups that are raising funds with valuations less than Rs 50 crore can apply for the event. The final application date is July 10, 2025.
All In Capital also launched its second fund. The firm just closed the first part of this fund at Rs 85 crore. Its first fund has supported over 50 startups across sectors such as fintech, SaaS, consumer, AI, healthcare, and deeptech. Some notable startups the firm has backed include Newme, Salty, Magma, and Piersight.
With Elevator Pitch 2.0, the goal of All In Capital is to surface the best founders from across India and bring them capital to grow a more inclusive startup ecosystem.
