Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro will soon be available at its lowest price in India. During Flipkart’s Big Billion Days sale, starting on September 23, the phone will be sold at an effective price of ₹69,999. This is a huge drop of over ₹40,000 from its current price of ₹1,12,900 for the 128GB model.
In 2024, the iPhone 16 Pro debuted in India at a starting price of ₹1,19,900. The upcoming discount makes it one of the best deals for buyers who have been waiting to upgrade to a flagship Apple device.
How the Discount Will Work
Flipkart has not given full details of the offer yet. However, reports say the lower price will come from a mix of
- Flat discounts on the phone’s price,
- Bank card offers, and
- Exchange deals for old smartphones.
According to media reports, the ₹69,999 price also includes a ₹5,000 discount for payments made using select bank credit cards. Customers should check bank tie-ups and exchange options during checkout to get the full benefit.
Price Cut on iPhone 16 Pro Max
The bigger iPhone 16 Pro Max will also get a big price cut. The phone, which launched at ₹1,44,900 for the base 256GB model, is currently listed at ₹1,37,900 on Flipkart. During the sale, it will be available for ₹89,999 after discounts and bank offers.
iPhone 16 Pro Features
The iPhone 16 Pro uses Apple’s A18 Pro chip which is faster and more efficient than its predecessors. It has a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 2,000 nits. It has a titanium frame that is strong and lightweight.
For photography, the phone comes with a triple camera system—two 48MP sensors (wide and ultra-wide) and a 12MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. There is also a 12MP front camera and a new Camera Control button for easy shooting.
Battery life is also a highlight at 27 hours of video playback. The phone features 25W MagSafe charging and supports Qi2 wireless charging.
