Bengaluru, Aug 4, 2025, Cyber resilience startup Mitigata has received USD 5.9 million from a Series A round to develop its platform and grow its business. The round was led by Nexus Venture Partners in participation from WEH Ventures and Titan Capital.

Mitigata, based out of Bengaluru, supports businesses in protecting themselves from online threats. It provides a full-service platform that includes cybersecurity, cyber risk management, cyber compliance, and cyber insurance, all powered by artificial intelligence (AI). The goal is to facilitate organisations with cyber attack prevention, compliance, and complete incident recovery.

Hitting our goal of being India’s first IRDAI-registered insurance broker with a sole focus on cyber insurance was one of Mitigata’s biggest achievements. This gives us a unique position in the Indian market where both the number of cyber risk incidents and demand for genuine protection are increasing amongst businesses.

Our new funds will be used to:

Enhance the AI-driven platform

Increase cyber resilience services, domestically and internationally.
Grow the people in our security, insurance, and compliance teams.
Establish three global security operation centers in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Delhi.

Mitigata is presently working with over 500 organizations spanning 25 industries and with the goal of improving preparedness for cyber threats. Its services are designed to help businesses of any size, from small businesses and start-ups to the largest enterprises, with off-the-shelf and easy-to-use tools for mitigating cyber risks. Mitigata’s focus on the convergence of technology and insurance has given the company a competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity industry. The growing dependence on digital systems makes it increasingly important to have protection and recovery under one roof.
