On Tuesday, online brokerage firm Zerodha said it is receiving reports of intermittent connectivity issues on its trading platform Kite via the Cloudflare network for users on specific ISPs, and advised them to try a different internet connection. The Cloudflare network has since been restored, and all sites are now operational, according to the brokerage.

“We’ve received reports of Kite users on certain ISPs experiencing intermittent connectivity issues via the Cloudflare network. This is something we’re discussing with Cloudflare. In the meantime, please try using a different internet connection,” Zerodha said earlier in the day in a tweet.

Cloudflare (network transit, proxy, and security provider), which is used by the majority of internet businesses worldwide, is experiencing a global outage. The 500 error is being displayed on major websites all over the world. Cloudflare also confirmed that the problem has been identified and that a solution is in the works.

“The Cloudflare team is aware of the current service issues and is working to resolve them as soon as possible,” says the statement. Cloudflare had informed in a tweet that “updates can be followed here.”

Several popular services, including Discord, Omegle, DoorDash, Crunchyroll, NordVPN, and Feedly, are said to be down due to a Cloudflare outage. Zerodha, Medium.com, Buffer, iSpirt, Upstox, and Social Blade are among the other popular services that have confirmed they are affected.

Meanwhile, Zerodha advised users to try switching to a different ISP if they are unable to use its websites or apps.

“Our CDN partner, Cloudflare, is currently experiencing issues in India, as a result of which some of our services may be temporarily inaccessible,” another brokerage trading platform, Upstox, tweeted.
