South Korea based technology giant Samsung is looking forward to hire 1000 new employees from top engineering institutes in India for its Delhi, Bengalore and Noida offices.

Samsung is looking forward to hire 1000 students from top engineering colleges in India. They are planning to hire at least one fourth of them from IITs (almost 260 students) and a balance from other top tier institutes. They have planned to pick top students from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) and many more. 

They are planning to hire students from different branches and streams like information technology, mathematics, computing, electrical engineering, instrumentation, computer science and electronics and communication to strengthen the company in every aspect and build innovative technologies targeting the needs of India.

The head of human resource and senior vice president at Samsung India, Sameer Wadhawan said, “we will be hiring 1000 new employees from top notch engineering colleges, as business continue to expand and grow. These engineers will work at our Research and Development centres located in Bangalore, Delhi and Noida.” He added that, “One fourth (260) employees will be from IITs and a balance amount would be from tier one schools in India.”

Samsung had previously hired 1200 new engineers in 2019 from top colleges in India, but they joined the company in 2020 due to Covid-19 pandemic.
