Having dedicated an impressive 35 years to Unilever, the 56-year-old veteran embarked on his journey as a management trainee in 1988, catapulting him to his imminent leadership role.

Assuming the mantle of MD and CEO of Hindustan Unilever, Jawa is anticipated to be rewarded with an annual remuneration of Rs 21.43 crore, as outlined in the company’s annual report. Additionally, he will receive mobility-linked allowances amounting to Rs 4.83 crore in the upcoming fiscal year. Notably, Jawa’s remuneration package is set to surpass that of Mehta in FY23, who earned a total of Rs 22.36 crore in annual remuneration last fiscal.
