
Shares of EMS Limited jumped 7.55% intraday to ₹412.50 on the NSE on Friday after the Ghaziabad-based water infrastructure company informed stock exchanges it had received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Delhi Jal Board for a sewerage project worth approximately ₹158.29 crore.

Market reaction
EMS Limited stock was trading at ₹412.50, up ₹28.95 or 7.55%, on the day of the announcement — its highest level in the stock’s recent trading history, per intraday charts.
EMS Limited: The order
EMS Limited on Friday said it had been awarded the contract by the Delhi Jal Board’s Office of the Executive Engineer (C), DR-XV, Jal Sadan Annexe, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. The estimated order value works out to Rs. 15,828.57 lakhs — about ₹158.29 crore.
The scope of work involves providing, laying and jointing internal and peripheral sewer lines in the Tikri Kalan GOC, under the command of the proposed sewage treatment plant (STP) at Tikri Kalan, under package NIT-01. The company has been awarded the contract as the lowest bidder (L-1) among domestic entities, and the work is to be executed over 15 months.
Follow-up to earlier disclosure
EMS had earlier disclosed its L-1 (lowest bidder) status for the same Delhi Jal Board tender.
Earlier this month, EMS Limited had received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from UP Jal Nigam (Urban), Varanasi, for laying sewer networks and house connections across four problematic wards — Shivpurwa, Tulasipur, Birdopur and Kajipura — out of 18 identified wards under Nagar Nigam, Varanasi.
The order carries an estimated value of Rs. 10,284.76 lakhs — about ₹102.85 crore — and covers survey, soil investigation, design and supply of all materials and labour for the project.
