On November 4, 2021, Reliance Jio Phone Next was launched in India. Considering the Indian market Jio has availed the product at only 6499 INR, making it one of the most affordable smartphones. This product was created with Google.

Display:

It offers a 5.45 HD+ (720 × 1440) 60hz display. You get a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with an anti-fingerprint coating at the back.

Camera:

The device features a 13MP rear camera with Autofocus and F1/3 aperture. And, on the front side, you get 8MP, also with Autofocus but F1/4 aperture. There’s an LED flashlight on the back and an in-display flashlight for the front camera.

You get several Scene modes and settings such as HDR Mode, Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Photo, Video, Translate, and Timer settings.

Surprisingly, you receive 1080p video resolution with 30fps for both cameras.

Processor:

This device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon QM215, with up to 1.3GHz speed, quad-core processor along with Adreno 308 GPU @ 465Mhz.

Memory:

It gets enough 2 GB RAM to handle simple daily multitasking effortlessly, but won’t be enough for gaming fans. The device might lag. It offers 32 GB in-built storage for your photos, videos, and other files. If that isn’t enough for you, you get external SD card space to expand your memory up to 512 GB.

Battery:

The device offers a 3500 mAh Li-Polymer. And the battery is also removable, which is quite rare, nowadays.

SIM Card & Network:

This device is 4G ready. It has dual nano-SIM slots, but it only supports Jio SIM cards.

Connectivity:

It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and other basic connectivity options.

Other:

This device gets a micro-USB port for charging and other file transferring purposes. It also has a 3.5mm Audio Jack. It also supports OTG connection.

This device features four basic sensors: Accelerometer (G Sensor), Light Sensor, and Proximity Sensor.

Conclusion:

For those, who use a smartphone with limited purposes such as, WhatsApp, Call, SMS, YouTube, or internet surfing. This is the smartphone to go for.

But those who seek gaming experience and use many social media apps, or other heavy multitasking you shouldn’t prefer this product.
