A weaver from Dharmavaram, Andhra Pradesh named Jujaru Nagaraju utilized his entire life earnings of Rs. 3.5 lakh to make a massive 196-foot saree that he is giving to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

The saree has the phrase “Jai Shri Ram” stitched 32,200 times in 13 different languages, fit for an icon of Goddess Sita!

On January 22, Nagaraju intends to wear this exquisite saree at the temple’s dedication ceremony.

Long Saree for the Idol

Ramayana illustrations are featured on the saree.

The distinctive saree features chants in several languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu, Malayalam, and Odiya, and is crafted from a particular fabric known as “Rama Koti Vastram”.

It also features 168 pictures from the life of Lord Ram as they appear in the Ramayana, a well-known Hindu epic.

This saree is about eleven times longer than a typical saree, weighing in at 16 kilograms.

It is said that Nagaraju worked on it for six months, putting in about ten hours a day.

Weaver is awaiting approval to embrace her saree for the consecration ceremony.

Regarding transferring the saree, Nagaraju is now in negotiations with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

“Once I receive the green signal from the Trust members, I will proceed to Ayodhya to personally hand over the special saree,” the guy said in an interview with Times Now.

If Nagaraju is not able to deliver the gift on January 22, he intends to try again on a subsequent “auspicious” occasion. Recently, the saree was on display, drawing about 500 people.

Plans are in place for the ceremony on January 22.

Plans have been made for the January 22 consecration event, including a “extensive master plan” on rescue and medical services from Ayodhya to Lucknow.

These include, according to reports, two temporary hospitals, sixteen primary health camps, thirty mobile toilets, fifty mela sarthis (guides), twelve ambulances (including twelve Advanced Life Support vehicles), and more than two hundred doctors. There are also an additional 1,500 safai mitras and 30 stationary temporary toilets.

Authority to stream live the consecration ceremony

On January 22, more than 14,000 temples in Delhi are expected to show live footage of the Ram Mandir’s consecration event.

All jails in Uttar Pradesh will broadcast live footage of the Ram Temple’s consecration ceremony on January 22 so that inmates can view the event in real time.

The ceremony will also be streamed live from New York City’s famed Times Square in the United States.

The Uttar Pradesh government will operate electric buses in Ayodhya.

Furthermore, one hundred electric buses will be operating starting on January 15.
