In 2022, Rai received the Nari Shakti Puraskar in recognition of her outstanding efforts to advance women’s rights.

Nivruti Rai, the head of Intel India, has left the organisation after an incredible 29 years, according to a statement made by Intel. As a design engineer who joined Intel in February 1994, Rai held the posts of vice-president of Intel Foundry Services and head of India.

Intel thanked Nivruti in its statement for the impressive advancements made by Intel India during her leadership. For her outstanding work in empowering women, Rai received the Nari Shakti Puraskar in 2022 as recognition of her important achievements.

From 1994 until 2005, Rai initially worked for Intel in the US; in September 2005, he relocated to Bengaluru and took on the position of senior director of chipset engineering and intellectual property development.

The business intends to provide more updates on the leadership succession plan for Intel India, which is the company’s largest engineering centre outside of the US.

Nivruti Rai, the vice president of Intel Foundry Services and the national head for Intel in India, announced her departure from the business in a statement. For the outstanding development Intel India has experienced under Nivruti’s leadership, we are appreciative. Today, Intel India is the company’s largest engineering location outside of the US and a key source of talent. We hope Nivruti has a successful next chapter and look forward to sharing more information about Intel India’s leadership plans soon.

This represents the second significant resignation from Intel’s executive team in the past 12 months. Randhir Thakur, the head of the business’ foundry services, left Intel in November 2022.
