“IIT-Bombay has been a pillar in my life, moulding my formative years and creating the groundwork for my path. As I commemorate 50 years of my affiliation with this prestigious institution, I am honoured to pay it forward and invest in its future. This gift is more than just a financial one; it is also a dedication to the kids who will influence the future of our globe and a tribute to the location that has given me so much. Nilekani uttered.

Director Subhasis Chaudhuri stated that this gift will significantly accelerate IIT Bombay’s growth and establish it as a global leader. In order to establish India as a global leader in scientific discovery and its useful applications to tackle the most serious problems facing humanity, he emphasised the institute’s dedication to fostering research and academic achievement.
