Following a shareholder decision on July 14, 2021, BB & Associates was re-appointed as Zomato Hyperpure Pvt Ltd’s statutory auditors for a term of five years.

In a letter to the board of Zomato Hyperpure Pvt Ltd, which was participated on stock exchanges, BB & Associates said its abdication was after colorful conversations with the operation of holding company ZomatoLtd.  

Online food delivery platform Zomato on Saturday said the adjudicator of its attachment Zomato Hyperpure Pvt Ltd, BB & Associates has abnegated. In a nonsupervisory form, Zomato said the statutory adjudicator of its material attachment abnegated with effect from May 13, 2023.  

In a letter to the board of Zomato Hyperpure Pvt Ltd, which was participated on stock exchanges, BB & Associates said its abdication was after colorful conversations with the operation of holding company ZomatoLtd.  ” We understand that they want to appoint one of the large inspection enterprises as statutory adjudicators of the company. Consequently, we’ve agreed to step down as statutory adjudicators of the company w.e.f. May 13, 2023,” the letter said. 

This comes after ONDC, It is anticipated that the government-backed Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) would revolutionize Indian food delivery. Over 10,000 orders a day’s worth of transactions have already been made on the network. Is Swiggy and Zomato’s future in doubt?

Waayu, a new online meal delivery service launched by Mumbai hotels, claims to be 15% to 20% less expensive than existing aggregators. The meal delivery app, Waayu, claims to address problems that businesses and customers have with current online food delivery services, including exorbitant commissions, unfair rankings, biassed reviews, low quality, and bad customer service.

Anirudha Kotgire and Mandar Lande, two IT entrepreneurs, founded Destek HORECA, which produces Waayu. The Mumbai-based Indian Hotel and Restaurant Association (AHAR) and other trade organisations support it. This software as a service (SaaS) platform allows users to access more than 1,000 restaurants in Mumbai, including Bhagat Tarachand, Mahesh Lunch Home, Banana Leaf, Shiv Sagar, Guru Kripa, Kirti Mahal, Persian Darbar, and Ladu Samrat.

There are rumours that WAAYU does not charge commission fees to restaurants, allowing them to offer customers greater value and reasonable prices.By providing customers with food that is reasonably priced, timely, and of high quality, the platform hopes to eliminate the problems of exorbitant pricing, delays, shoddy hygiene, low quality, and a lack of customer service.
