Apple is all geared up to ship its newly launched products including new iPhones, Apple Watches, MacBooks, AirPods, HomePod Mini speakers, etc. during the holiday season.

Global tech giant Apple organized a hardware event on October 18, 2021, where it dropped curtains on the new launch of various products including new processors, AirPods, laptops and more. 

Apple also organized an event in September 2021, unveiling the launch of iPhone 13 series in India. The company’s brand new iPhone series includes iPhone 13, iPhone 1 mini, iPhone 13 Pro as well as iPhone 13 Pro Max, pricing starting at Rs. 69,900.

Let us look at everything Apple announced in its ‘Unleashed’ event:

1. The All-new MacBook Pro Laptops

Apple declared the launch of new MacBook Pro laptops using the company’s M1 Pro and M1 Max chips which it claims to be much faster than the laptops with Intel chips.

The up-to-date models are designed with an HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port which will allow users to connect laptops to displays and TVs. It also includes a SD card slot for storing photographs. It also comes with MagSafe magnetic connector, one of the most demanded features from old models. 

MagSafe is a magnetic technology brought in by Apple which eases the feature of wireless charging.

For charging the laptop, the model comes with USB-C ports which also deliver additional support to Thunderbolt connections. Both of the models charge up to 50% in just half an hour. 

Apple’s MacBook Pro is launched in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes with ProMotion screens which is also included in the company’s iPhone 13. The displays are built on MiniLED technology. 

The latest 14-inch model of MacBook Pro is launched with a starting price of $1,999, while the 16-inch model starts at $2,499.

The newly launched MacBook Pros were available for pre-order on October 18, 2021 and will expectedly be available in stores soon. 

Apple-launched MacBook Pros lack Touch Bar touchscreen on the keyboard; however, include a fingerprint sensor in the power button.

The company claims that its 14-inch laptop models have capacity to play video for about 14 hours, and the 16-inch models can do the same for 21 hours. 

2. New third-generation AirPods 

The brand new launched AirPods promises to support spatial audio with its new spatial audio-supporting sensors. The AirPods case charges magnetically using Apple’s Magsafe. The company said its “third-generation” AirPods come with more powerful bass than the company’s older models. AirPods can play audio for up to 6 hours. 

The AirPods are priced at $179 which will be available in stores from the last second week of October 2021.

3. The new HomePod Mini Speaker

Apple announced the launch of its new smart speaker at its ‘Unleash’ event, HomePod Mini which will be offered to the consumers in different color options. Unlike the previous speakers which were available only in white and dark grey, HomePod Mini speakers are now coming in yellow, blue and orange. 

The Apple’s HomePod Mini speakers are priced at $99.

4. Plans to announce new processors

Apple’s “Unleashed” event unveils the company’s plans to announce newly developed processors. The company focuses on developing advanced technology-based computers as these Mac computers are responsible for developing apps for Apple’s products including iPad, iPhone, Apple Watch and Apple TV.
