Anupam Rasayan India Ltd, a chemicals manufacturing company announced on Friday that its consolidated net profit had increased by 43.61% to reach a total of Rs 54.43 crore during the third quarter of the current fiscal year.

The company, Anupam Rasayan India Ltd, announced their financial performance for the October-December quarter of 2022-23 through a regulatory filing. The filing stated that the company’s net profit for this quarter was Rs 54.43 crore, which is a 43.61% increase from the same quarter of the previous fiscal where the net profit was Rs 37.90 crore. The company also reported a significant increase in their total revenue on a consolidated basis. The total revenue for this quarter was Rs 388.78 crore, which is an increase from the previous year’s revenue of Rs 271.12 crore for the same quarter. The company’s revenue has grown significantly over the year.

The company reported that their expenses during the October-December quarter of 2022-23 remained higher as compared to the same period in the previous year. Specifically, the expenses amounted to Rs 313.45 crore, which is an increase from the previous year’s expenses of Rs 211.80 crore.

Anand Desai, the Managing Director of Anupam Rasayan, commented on the company’s performance stating that despite the unavailability of certain capacities during the quarter, they were able to deliver growth on a year-over-year basis. He added that if they adjust for the deferred revenue due to capacity constraints, then their growth would have been around 25% during the quarter. On January 4th, the company had restarted operations in one of its two plants after receiving a revocation of the closure order. The company also mentioned in the filing that with regard to the other plant, they are currently in the process of completing the required formalities.
