The film is completely shot by a OnePlus device, the OnePlus 9 Pro, and is available only on Disney + Hotstar

OnePlus proclaimed a collaboration with Bollywood director Vikramaditya Motwane’s Andolan Production, Big Bad Wolf Studios and the Odd and Even Productions to release film titled ‘2024’. The 60-minute action movie is completely shot by OnePlus 9 Pro 5G. The film is about four youngsters who grew up together in an orphanage in Dharavi. They struggle to survive in a dystopian environment resulting from a mutating virus.

The smartphone features 4 cameras- a 48MP wide, a 50MP ultra-wide, an 8MP 3.3x telephoto, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. It has a 16MP front camera too. The main camera uses a Sony IMX789 sensor that was made in collaboration with Sony. The 50MP ultra-wide camera uses a Sony IMX766 sensor. 8MP telephoto lens can shoot at up to 3x optical zoom whereas the OnePlus 9 Pro additionally comes with 8k video recording at 30fps and 4k video at 120fps.

OnePlus partnered with camera specialist Hassleband. Hassleband helped improved the color tuning of its pictures. The clicks are in much cooler and naturalistic tones, that was antecedently seen solely in iPhone cameras.
