The meeting brought together Board Members from three chambers—I.e. Dubai Chambers, Dubai Chamber of Commerce, Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, and Dubai International Chamber—under Dubai Chambers. The meeting strengthens their commitment to economic growth and development in Dubai.
The session includes H.E Sultan Ahmad Bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai International Chamber, besides Board Members from the three chambers and H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers in attendance. The discussion focused on ways Dubai Chambers could strengthen the private and governmental collaboration to further the economic viability of the emirate and create more partnerships locally and globally.
Emphasis was placed on how Dubai Chambers would continue to support the case of the emirate to develop as a leading, global investment hub following a developmental paradigm of adaptability, proactiveness, and strategic alliances. Participants brainstormed fresh ideas and promising proposals for propelling Dubai’s status as a global economic hub even further.
Other details included ways to build new supportive mechanisms for helping businesses and investors in line with Dubai’s dynamic economic outlook and vision in the long term. This further substantiates the bold declaration made by Dubai Chambers to speed up activities that will spur economic activity and breed opportunities for their crucial sectors.
His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori spoke about the headway accomplished in driving economic growth and responding to the ever-shifting needs of the business community. He underscored the very role of the strategic initiatives designed toward investment attraction to back business growth globally and to fast-track digital transformation.
His Excellency reiterated the pledge of Dubai Chambers to unveil new initiatives anchored into the vision of the leadership, which will further augment Dubai’s ranks as one of the world’s leading economic cities. His Excellency highlighted the need to build upon the successes of the past and at the same time, tend to the creation of higher-value opportunities in line with the aspirations of the D33 Dubai Economic Agenda. During the session, His Excellency Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori honored His Excellency Abdul Aziz Abdulla Al Ghurair, the previous Chairman of Dubai Chambers, together with His Excellency Faisal Juma Belhoul, the ex-Vice Chairman, for their tremendous leadership and support for the organization.
Gratitude was also expressed to the former board members, namely His Excellency Majid Hamad Rahmah Alshamsi, Her Excellency Dr. Raja Al Gurg, and His Excellency Hisham Alshirawi, for their devoted service and contribution to the good cause of Dubai Chambers. The brainstorming meeting has reaffirmed the commitment of Dubai Chambers to render a dynamic and noise-resilient business environment. Continuing its work, it plays an important role in the creation of Dubai’s economy through its strategic partnerships and forward-looking initiatives.
