Coforge AI transformation contract

Coforge Limited, the Greater Noida-headquartered IT services company, has announced that it has won a five-year contract valued at over $230 million from a major client in Europe for an AI-led enterprise transformation programme.

The company described the engagement as one of the largest AI-led transformation programmes it has secured in the European region to date, underscoring the scale of the deal at a time when enterprises across the continent are ramping up investment in AI-driven modernisation of their operations.

Coforge shares reacted positively to the announcement, climbing 1.29% intraday to ₹1,458.50 on the NSE, as investors welcomed the large-ticket European win.

A landmark European win for Coforge

Under the terms of the engagement, Coforge will deploy a combination of modern Low-Code/No-Code platforms alongside AI-powered automation and accelerated, AI-infused software development practices to overhaul the client’s business operations.

The company said the programme is designed to sharpen decision-making, lift productivity, cut manual effort, and speed up the delivery of outcomes at scale — objectives that have become common benchmarks for large-scale AI transformation mandates in the sector.

Coforge said the win builds on its broader strategy of pairing deep functional and industry expertise with platform engineering capabilities and an “AI-first” execution approach, positioning itself to support the client’s long-term innovation roadmap.

The company framed the contract as further validation of its role as a partner for enterprises attempting to graduate from small, isolated AI pilots to full enterprise-scale deployment with measurable business results.

John Speight, President and Europe Business Leader at Coforge, framed the win as a milestone for the company’s regional business.

“This engagement is a significant milestone for our European business and reflects the growing demand for AI-led transformation programs that deliver measurable business value,” he said.

Speight noted a broader shift in client behaviour across the continent, away from standalone experiments and towards embedding intelligence directly into core operations. “Organizations are increasingly looking to move beyond isolated AI initiatives and embed intelligence into their core operations,” he said, adding that Coforge’s pipeline of similar large-ticket conversations is growing.

“The pipeline of material AI-led transformation conversations across our markets continues to expand rapidly, as clients seek partners who can move from experimentation to enterprise-scale execution,” he said.

He added that the combination of modern platforms, AI-powered automation and the company’s engineering depth would help the client “accelerate innovation, improve operational efficiency, and create a more agile and future-ready enterprise.”

Coforge describes itself as an AI-native engineering services leader that builds its client solutions around AI as a foundational layer rather than an add-on.

The company says it combines AI agents with what it calls an AI-enabled workforce, including specialised “FDEs” — forward-deployed engineers — working in hybrid, pod-based delivery units, with an emphasis on secure and governed, enterprise-grade AI deployment.
