Ashneer Grover claims he received a Bigg Boss offer after being denied an invitation to Shark Tank India 2.

Ashneer Grover, a former BharatPe co-founder who was not invited to be a judge on the immensely popular Shark Tank India Season 2 has revealed that he received an offer from the hit reality TV show Big Boss.

Grover, on the other hand, told Red FM that he will not participate in the Big Brother madness because “failed people go there, not successful people.”

CarDekho Co-founder and CEO Amit Jain have replaced Grover as a judge on Shark Tank India season 2.

Peyush Bansal of Lenskart, Aman Gupta of BoAt, Anupam Mittal of Shaadi.com, Ghazal Alagh of Mamaearth, and Vineeta Singh of Sugar Cosmetics are the other Season 1 judges.

When asked if the Shark Tank India producers could no longer afford him, Grover replied, “Afford Sirf paise se nahi hota, aukaat se hota hai” (Affordability is about more than just money).

Grover, the former founder and CEO of BharatPe, has written a memoir titled ‘Doglapan’ (double standards) – the Hard Truth about Life and Start-ups,’ which will be released this month.

The memoir, billed as a “unfettered story of Ashneer Grover – the favorite and misunderstood poster boy of Startup India,” has been described as “raw, gut-wrenching in its honesty and completely from the heart, storytelling at its finest.”

Ashneer and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover have formed a new company called Third Unicorn Private Ltd and are planning to launch a third startup after allegedly defrauding the fintech platform BharatPe.

The nature of the startup is unknown at this time.
