Bengaluru, July 31, 2025, B2B AI startup Metaforms has just recently managed to raise $9 million (around ₹78.8 crore) in its Series A round to support market research agencies in automating their daily undertakings. The round was led by Peak XV Partners, with Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund also participating.
The company will seek to hire many more professionals this time, especially in their engineering and AI research teams in Bengaluru. They would also invest in platform enhancement activities as well as in building more features that support market research operations.
Founded in 2022 by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S, Metaforms aims to solve a major challenge in the global market research industry. However, these agencies frequently face slow, manual workflows that hinder their ability to deliver insights efficiently. Metaforms cofounder and CEO, Akshat Tyagi, emphasized that their goal is to empower, not replace, researchers. “We’re not here to replace the humans in the loop. We’re here to give them leverage”.
Making Market Research Simple With The Help of AI
Metaforms offers artificial intelligence (AI) to automate time-consuming processes in the market research field. The startup strives to help agencies reduce time and effort on manual workload so that they might be able to take on more projects smoothly and accurately.
It is indeed one of the most time-consuming jobs, requiring manual efforts and complex technical skills. The worker’s time is saved, and research results are delivered on time with the automation rendered by Metaforms to these processes.
Rapid Growth.
Metaforms is really making its mark in the industry. It has been able to sign STRAT7 and serves Fortune 500 companies, a global market research company, as one of its early clients.
The company asserts that its platform can help reduce a task that normally takes a longer time, which makes it a powerful tool for research teams on the go.
Backed by Top Investors
The investment came at a time when investors began showing interest in startups using AI to improve business processes. Peak XV, formerly known as Sequoia India and Southeast Asia, has taken an active role in backing early-stage AI startups. Nexus and Together Fund are also known for their investments in technology companies with high potential.
Metaforms believes that by speeding up research, making it simpler and efficient, they can bring about a modern transformation for the work of agencies in the AI age.
