Berkshire Hathaway, Warren Buffett’s company, has the most stock in four companies: Apple, Bank of America Corporation, American Express Company, and The Coca-Cola Company.

Warren Buffet is the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway and is well-known for his investing portfolio. For the fourth consecutive quarter, Berkshire Hathaway was a net seller of stocks in the third quarter. Berkshire’s net equity sales were $1.95 billion, up from $1.1 billion in the previous quarter. Some of the stocks in his portfolio have been in his portfolio for years, if not decades. This year, though, Buffett sold and disposed of some of the stock in his portfolio. Berkshire Hathaway has abandoned Merck & Co., as well as Merck subsidiary Organon. It reduced its holdings in many pharmaceutical companies, including Abbvie Inc. and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. The business also sold its entire ownership in another pharmaceutical company, Biogen Inc., in the second quarter.

Berkshire Hathaway maintained positions in Bank of America, Apple (AAPL), The Coca-Cola Company, and American Express Company, among others, in both the second and third quarters. Apple

Berkshire Hathaway has the largest stake in Apple in terms of market value. Berkshire Hathaway began purchasing Apple stock in late 2016 and had somewhat more than one billion Apple shares by early July 2018. Berkshire Hathaway had 887 million Apple shares, or 5.4 percent of the company, as of September 30, 2021, for a total market value of $160 billion. So far in 2021, Apple shares have risen 38.6 percent to $179.38, up from $129.41 on January 4, 2021.

The Bank of America

Bank of America Corp. is Berkshire Hathaway’s second-largest holding. Warren Buffett owns 1.01 billion shares of Bank of America worth $45.09 billion, or 12.34 percent of the corporation. So far this year, the stock price of Bank of America Corp has risen about 50% to $44.63, up from $30.03 on the first trading day of the fiscal year 2021.

American Express Corporation

Berkshire Hathaway had 150 million shares, or 19.57 percent of American Express Company, valued at $24.92 billion, making it the company’s third-largest investment. So far this year, the stock price of American Express Company has increased by over 40%. (38.79 percent). The closing share price of American Express Company was $163.83, up from $118.04 the previous day.

Coca-Cola Company

Berkshire Hathaway owned 9.3 percent of Coca-Cola, or 400 million shares, making it the company’s fourth-largest position. The market value of Warren Buffett’s Coca-Cola interests was $23.46 billion. The Coca-Cola Company stock price has risen 11.73 percent this year to $58.95, up from $52.76 at the start of the calendar year 2021.
