A new solar project has been secured in Bangladesh by Amara Raja Infra Private Limited (ARIPL), a company that is a component of the $1.75 billion Amara Raja Group. This project represents ARIPL’s debut in the global solar market and a new turning point for the business.

Engineering, Design, Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of a 100 MW (AC) Solar PV Power Plant are included in the project’s $130 million price tag. The EXIM Bank of India will provide the funding for this project. The project was acquired by Bangladesh’s Rural Power Company Ltd. (RPCL) through ARIPL’s partnership with Hyderabad’s Premier Solar. The project will be finished in the upcoming 18 months and covers 326 acres in Madarganj, Jamalpur District. In addition to providing complete operation and maintenance services for two years after the project is put into service, ARIPL will also supply warranty spares and consumables.
