Nikhil Gandhi is an experienced media professional who recently joined hands with MX Media as its Chief Operating Officer ( COO ). He was formerly the head of India’s short- video making, ByteDance owned platform, TikTok India. He was a leader of his growth in the Middle- East, Turkey, South Asia, and Africa. He terminated his position as the head of the platform in May 2021 and merged himself as the COO of MX Media.

MX Media and Entertainment is an Over Top ( OTT ) platform which has developed media platforms including MX Player and MX TakaTak. It collaborated with Nikhil Gandhi who is expected to contribute to the prosperity and overall growth of the MX Media company. Gandhi claims MX Player to be the leader in the Video Entertainment Space. On being overwhelmed, he added, “ I’m super excited to join the MX team and look forward to the next phase of our growth”.

Planning to be based in Mumbai and Singapore, Gandhi takes the lead to spur the platform’s performance and help it reach an impactful level of growth. Plans include:

MX Player
Developed by MX Media and Entertainment, MX Player is an Indian platform with video streaming services. It is accessible in devices- Android, IOS as well the Web. The platform provides services through its mobile app as well. It has roped in more than 280 million active users and provides 12 languages at the user’s disposal. Its headquarter is sited in Mumbai, India.

MX TakaTak

Apart from MX Player, MX Media and Entertainment also introduced a short video-making and sharing app MX TakaTak in July 2020. It is open to all Indian Citizens.
