Manoj Tiwari

“Success” might come as just a seven-letter word but holds an important meaning when reflected in life. It is the word that has been shaped from decades of hard work, discipline, and operating at the crux of the strategic decision-making process. Businesses generally grow and scale rapidly when the visionaries leading them have let them out into the world, experiencing every possible hurdle and operational setback. Today, this editorial sends a clear picture to our avid readership on the success story of Manoj Tiwari, who has honed leadership skills in his three decades of global operations across diverse sectors like commodities trading, operations, logistics, real estate, renewable energy, and last-mile delivery.

Manoj Tiwari believes in the holistic process of building from the ground up, as he did in his thirty years of an ongoing distinguished career. Before building Express Vulcan around 2017-18 and joining the dynamic team of QuicKart in 2024-25, Manoj had been setting up new offices in different countries and starting and making operations profitable. For most of his career, Mr. Tiwari has lived and worked abroad and redefined leadership skills. Manoj Tiwari completed his master’s in mechanical engineering from Ukraine (formerly USSR) in 1996 and began his career as a silo manager (operations) in Kazakhstan, where he managed one of the largest grain silos in the region, handling hundreds of thousands of tons of grain shipments across multiple countries.

After that, Mr. Tiwari, in 2000, relocated to Ukraine to lead the acquisition of a carbon black manufacturing unit for the Aditya Birla Group and initiated coke-chemical trading from Ukraine to Egypt. From 2005 to 2011, he returned to grain trading and became a leading exporter of grains, pulses, and oilseeds, primarily via containerized shipments to global markets. After almost 21 years of staying and working abroad on revolutionary projects, an unplanned visit to India in 2011 led Manoj Tiwari towards a fresh direction in his life when he joined a Singapore-based company. There he led business development and corporate relationships across real estate and renewable energy—both of which scaled successfully.

But a profound inclination towards the trading ecosystem garnered Manoj Tiwari back to Dubai in 2017 to restart agri-commodities trading. It was around this time when, in 2018, Manoj Tiwari founded a last-mile delivery company, Express Vulcan Delivery Services in Dubai, UAE. The editorial can analyze what an adventure that might have dawned upon Manoj during his distinguished career. Most importantly, Mr. Tiwari’s astute entrepreneurial skills led Express Vulcan to scale rapidly during the COVID-19 pandemic when food and grocery delivery became pivotal for existence. During that time, the trading operations getting to a halt led Manoj to navigate his focus wholly towards the last-mile delivery business model. He shares with us how the team worked round the clock to offer seamless service to the customers in the UAE.

Looking into the educational background of Manoj Tiwari, we can say that he has had a brilliant academic achievement. In 1996 he went to Moscow, USSR, under a government exchange program for higher studies and later moved to Ukraine, where he completed his master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Manoj Tiwari’s principle of doing business has been pretty clear from the beginning of his career. He is all about starting right, scaling responsibly, and focusing on profitability. He has ensured growth by expanding his businesses across several geographies. Identifying an industry gap, Mr. Tiwari built QuicKart, which delivers farm-fresh milk and vegetables to consumers within hours of extraction or milking, preserving nutrition and freshness. Express Vulcan has the motto “strive to be the best.” Manoj Tiwari has strategically positioned Express Vulcan to become one of the top three service providers in each sector they operate in. They take pride in being one of the most compliant companies since inception. Express Vulcan’s credibility is built on over eight years of uninterrupted service delivery, strong client retention, and top-tier compliance standards.

The future is nothing short of exceptional for the agile entrepreneur, Manoj Tiwari. He is an advocate of technology and tells us that in order for a business to stay relevant, evolution is non-negotiable. Manoj is looking to expand his operations to Saudi Arabia and beyond. His unparalleled commitment to his industry has earned Express Vulcan the prestigious “Best Delivery Company 2024″ award from Dubai RTA, with the honor conferred by His Excellency Mattar Al Tayer, Director General and Chairman of RTA.

For the next generation entrepreneur, Manoj Tiwari says, “Never give up under any circumstances. Strive to deliver the best—because the best version of you is yet to come.”
