Humans live for the love and affection of others. Ironically, our lives are actually not ours, as they are interdependent with our family. From a deeper perspective, society draws its sustenance from collaboration and living with each other and among one another. If we give it a thought, a healthy environment nurturing these collaborations depends on how we choose to live our lives. Whether it is solely relying on carrying on the basic duties and just passing each day by or making an effort to seek inspiration within our surroundings and try to do better each day. The places we live in make a huge difference when it comes to drawing inspiration and aspiring to be the best version of ourselves each day. Clean and tidy living space, hygienic attitude, sharp dressing, and most important, but terribly subtle, aesthetic designs. This editorial is a huge admirer of entrepreneurs who are redefining urban living with sustainable and human-centered designs.

Kirpa Kaur Channa, founder of Kirpa Channa Design, is a visionary who is not only shaping her expertise to adhere to spatial design that influences human psychology, behavior, and well-being, but also integrating the science of neuroarchitecture to make her projects more than visually appealing. We sit with Kirpa and what led her to build her design philosophy in the highly competitive industry of design and architecture. Kirpa comes from a wealth of experience in knowledge, culture, and global collaboration. Her architecture education at OCAD University in Toronto, Canada, one of Canada’s leading design universities, exposed Kirpa to integrating her expertise on diverse cultures and projects.

This editorial was moved by the vibrant entrepreneurial approach of Kirpa Kaur Channa, who believes in shaping spaces that could positively impact the people living, working, and collaborating with each other across the globe. Our interest skyrocketed sensing what could have ultimately compelled Kirpa to be so passionate about her work. To this profound curiosity, Kirpa took us down memory lane during her childhood. She says that was hugely inspired by her mother, who has paid great attention to details in the house they lived in. Each curtain color, furniture design, and aesthetic placement brought out a positive vibe and harmony in their home. This was deeply impactful in a holistic way for Kirpa Channa. Furthermore, she recalled a visit to Egypt during her childhood. The magnificent pyramids and architecture brought a sense of inclination toward learning about how environments can evoke emotion, wonder, and memory.

Instead of grabbing every possible project, Kirpa Kaur Channa is all ears while strategizing efficient business models and creating the right team that aligns with the collective vision of creating top-quality deliverables for clients who are commercial, homeowners, or entrepreneurs.

Kirpa Channa: “At Kirpa Channa Design, neuroarchitecture is not an added layer but the very foundation of the studio’s design philosophy and its defining differentiator. The practice is rooted in the belief that spaces should do more than look refined; they should actively enhance how people feel, think, and function within them.”

Highlighting the studio’s USP being an advocate of neuroscience, Kirpa adds by saying that by seamlessly integrating principles of neuroscience, environmental psychology, and human-centered design, the studio crafts environments that are both intuitively beautiful and cognitively responsive.

The studio’s work resonates across global contexts and diverse typologies, whether social spaces, commercial environments, residential projects, or hospitality experiences, each tailored to enhance the way people interact, feel, and live within them. Positioned at the intersection of science and design, Kirpa Channa Design is emerging as a forward-thinking studio redefining luxury through intelligence, empathy, and innovation, setting a new benchmark for what human-centered environments can achieve

Something that stood out while our analysis on the meteoric growth of Kirpa Channa Design was an interdisciplinary approach with industry experts from diverse sectors in the projects. Kirpa says that this approach garners exceptional innovation in the process and helps the business in reaching newer markets.

An unparalleled commitment to the design and architecture industry and to the greater community of entrepreneurship has earned Kirpa Channa distinguished awards. A few of those include the ARIDO Award in Canada for her work in the international design community. She was also honored with the title “Trendsetter & Promising Designer of the Year 2025.” Furthermore, Kirpa Channa Design has been recognized as “Innovative & Futuristic Interior Design & Architectural Design Firm of the Year 2025” under the  “Sustainable Design Approach, Commercial Projects & Residential Projects” category (Global Edition). Kirpa Channa Design was also recognized as one of the Top 100 Interior Designers & Architects of 2025.

The future holds nothing but an array of opportunities for Kirpa Channa, starting with expanding her business across India and the globe. She is also looking forward to further research on neuroarchitecture and human-centered design. Drawing from these goals and to collaborate with industry experts, Kirpa Channa Design is also envisioning being a studio that gets to be the pioneer of neuroscience-informed spatial design.

For the future leaders in this industry, Kirpa Channa says, “Design is not only about how a space looks but also about how it makes people feel. When environments are created with empathy and intention, they have the power to quietly transform everyday life.”
