Young Lak Kim who was the previous MD of LG Electronics India has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President.

Electronics India Private Limited supplies electronic products. The company offers televisions, mobile phones, refrigerators, computers, air conditioners, cameras, and household appliances. LG Electronics provides services to customers around the world. 

On Wednesday, LG Electronics India announced the appointment of the new Managing Director Mr. Hong Je Jeon. Earlier, Jeon was in charge of the Middle-East regions as its subsidiary president. Jeon was also in a position of other senior positions at LG Electronics as managing director of countries namely Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Jordan. 

The company said in a statement announcing the appointment of the new managing director. “Kim’s commitment to drive market leadership, sales, and brand growth in India has been significant and LG’s market dominance has strengthened across various product categories during his tenure,” 

Commenting on his appointment Hong Ju Jeon, said, “I look forward to new challenges as well as the opportunity to serve millions of consumers. India is a growing economy and is an interesting market with vast demographics therefore, we aim to further strengthen our consumer base by introducing a product portfolio that is developed basis the insights of the consumers.”

The LGEIL manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, India is one of the most environmentally friendly LG manufacturing facilities in the world. The company’s second new plant is located in Ranjangaon, Pune, and can manufacture LED TVs, air conditioners, commercial air conditioners, washing machines, refrigerators, and monitors.
