Gokulnath’s life began under humble circumstances since she was born into a middle-class Bengaluru household. A young woman who prioritises morals over everything else began her career as an educator at Byju’s while the organization was still an offline operation. Her enthusiasm for teaching brought her to the company, but it was her adaptability to a tech-first atmosphere that propelled her to success with Byju’s.

Divya Gokulnath is a single child of parents with careers and grew up in Bengaluru. Her father was a doctor in the Indian Air Force, while her mother was an IT programming executive with Doordarshan. Growing up with parents who were employed, Gokulnath was certain that her life’s objectives would include a profession and that she would take control of her own destiny and income. She was raised in Bangalore, near the workplace of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, India’s domestic defense conglomerate, on Old Madras Road.

Gokulnath is enthusiastic about teaching and feels that India will become a center for educators in the future.

Innovating Education: How the educator advanced her career and Changed the Learning Landscape.

Divya Gokulnath’s career began in 2008 when she began teaching at Byju’s. Her work was later recognized, and the organization provided in-person instruction to go along with classroom education. Byju’s career advanced in 2015 when she developed a mobile app with a video lesson. Divya is featured in videos as an instructor there. Divya also writes on the Internet. She produced articles on education themes such as the future prospects of education, parental responsibility, and women’s engagement in STEM fields. She has spoken at several gatherings about the issues that women entrepreneurs face. She also collaborated with Byju Raveendran on an article about educational technology in Vogue India.

She had had a relationship with Byju Raveendran while working with him, and they subsequently married. Both of them live and work together, and their total income is around  3.05 billion dollars. Byju Raveendran, Divya’s spouse, and his brother Riju Raveendran work together to attain this objective. Divya  lives with her 11-member family, which includes her infant kid. She subsequently gave birth to yet another child in early 2021.

Next-Generation Online Learning Platform – Byju’s redefines education

Divya Gokulnath provided the company with an entirely novel strategy with her approaches and effective training methods. She is continually bringing fresh ways to learn using basic strategies. Students can readily absorb and retain this information.

With Byju’s help.

It is clear that Divya exists solely for education. She believes that variety promotes efficiency. And the amount of ladies at Byju’s clearly demonstrates the argument. There are two women on the board for every six males, four women in upper management for every nine men, and 49 percent of women in the organisation overall. Gratefulness equals success. Despite Byju’s enormous success over the years, Divya tells us that it’s the successful stories of her students that give her the most happiness and achievement.

The Road to Resilience: How she survived the difficulties

Divya’s path was not easy, but what helped her overcome the various challenges was the support she received from her family. She credits her growth and accomplishments to parents who never raised her differently and in-laws who had her back.

Prioritization is essential for Divya. Saying ‘women are excellent at multitasking’ is what frequently drags them down since they always have a long list of tasks to accomplish. Choosing what is most essential and directing all of one’s efforts into those things may make a significant impact.

The Power of Purpose: Creating an Impactful People-First Culture

Having personnel that have been with the organization from its start and have faith in the company’s purpose has been a big role in speeding growth for BYJU’S, the 10-year-old company. This ensures leadership stability and a single purpose towards which everyone may strive. Focusing on the purpose while allowing for flexibility in execution is what allowed BYJU to transition from a venue to a smartphone. This was only feasible because the proper technology was used at the right moment. Students frequently got up and gave team BYJU’s a standing ovation in classes where there were no educators and content was aired throughout the country. The power of outstanding content facilitates customization.

BYJU’S has acquired a few firms over the previous several years – a combination of bright individuals, good products, and devoted teams has catapulted the edtech startup to where it is now. Divya said of the organisation’s valuation and the research that goes into each purchase, “Success is when we’re able to create as much value as possible, and that’s what we’ve been focusing on all these years.” We’re in it for the long haul, and we’ve got a greater stake in the game than ever. So anything we do needs to be scalable.” BYJU’S has an adaptable workforce of 30,000 employees and 12,000 teachers. Divya explained how those that trace their own courses, pioneers who illustrate what actions need to be taken, create changes in the business. Setting new standards motivates individuals to accomplish and be more.
