When we spoke to Dr. Jeswant about what might have inspired him to collect rare motorcycles, he took us down memory lane that instant with two special stories that struck us as something immensely inspiring.
Dr. Jeswant: “The very first bike in my collection was a Honda Elite 250 maxi scooter. It belonged to my uncle Mr. Elivin Paul; he loved the bike so much that it was kept as a family member in the living room of his house. When he passed on, the bike was specifically passed on to my family and me. This is where my true passion for bikes started; this was the only one in India.”
“There was a Yezdi classic bike; I had casually found the bike on a sale site and contacted the owner and set a deal. I went to pick up the bike and sat on the seat; my wife came with me for this. As I sat on the bike, I told my wife I feel like my best friend, Mr. Sri Hari. We laughed and brought the bike home. The next day my friend calls me and tells me, “Doc, how did you get my bike?”Then I realized it was his college sweetheart that he drove everywhere.”

There have been several challenges regarding storing his huge collection, but his passion towards his hobby found solutions to every problem. Most importantly, Dr. Jeswant tells us that his mother, Mrs. Joyce Thomas, has been his greatest inspiration in his journey.

He says, “Dreams that you dream about, keep them close to your heart because they are the future of your life. Dream it, desire it, dare it, and do it. I have always followed my dreams, and I continue to do so. My final destination is yet to be reached, but I am climbing up the staircase of success.
