Our pen might run out of ink as we unfold the success story of Dr. Amanpal Singh Chawla, who took over Skillspade Solutions Pvt. Ltd., a 24-year-old entity, as its Executive Director, translating his 18 years of industry experience in the BFSI, corporate training and education sector into impact-driven initiatives and strategies. The root that stemmed the inspiration to uplift the quality of education in Dr. Chawla is his humble upbringing. He shares that he did not come from a financially strong family background, and yet his grandparents and his family did everything in their power to craft the best quality of life for him – quality in values, quality in education, and quality in service. He recollects his fondest memory of when his grandmother used to tell him that education transforms lives, not just of individuals but that of their families and communities by creating opportunities for growth and empowerment.
Dr. Chawla has a distinguished corporate career spanning about two decades. He began his career serving high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients as a Wealth Manager at ICICI Bank, later working as a Zonal Manager at Home Loan Advisors and subsequently as the India Head of a financial planning company, where he led the design of effective financial plans for the employees of marquee organisations such as Zee TV, TCS, and Sony. He has also served as Associate Vice President with the global education board American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM) India, where he focused on marketing and strategic partnerships with colleges, universities and corporations. Dr. Chawla founded and led ACBM Global Mentor Academy and Finsaarthi Learning Solutions, both of which later became part of Skillspade Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Currently, Dr. Chawla serves as the Executive Director of Skillspade Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. Skillspade Solutions offers a range of learning & development solutions like financial literacy and investor education, corporate training, mentoring, short-term programs under NAAC and NEP, employability enhancement courses in the areas of finance, marketing, HR & data analytics and global education initiatives and immersion programs.
Dr Chawla is committed to utilising his strategic capabilities in making a positive impact within our society. A committed Rotarian, Dr.Chawla has served as the President of Rotary Club of Mumbai Marvels (2020–21) and continues to contribute as International Youth Director, Vocational Director, Director of Rotary Foundation & CSR, and Zonal Chair CSR (District 3141). His active role in Rotary reflects his vision of empowering communities through education, youth development, and CSR initiatives.
Looking into his own stellar educational background, Dr. Chawla holds a graduation degree in BMS (Finance) from Mumbai University, an MBA in Marketing, an Executive MBA in International Finance, a Chartered Financial Goal Planner and Certified Personal Financial Specialist certifications from AAFM India. Additionally, he completed Executive Programs in Business Finance from IIM Ahmedabad and Business Analytics from IIM Calcutta. Furthermore, Dr. Chawla has been awarded a Doctorate in Corporate Social Responsibility.

He has delivered financial literacy workshops for more than 500 corporates, including Reliance Jio, Aditya Birla Retail, Vedanta, Future Retail, Shoppers Stop, Orange Business, Cigniti Technologies, Reliance Industries, Raymond Consumer Care, Western Railways, etc. Moving forward, Dr. Chawla has successfully conducted investor awareness program trainings for Asset Management Companies such as ICICI Prudential, Aditya Birla Mutual Fund, L&T Mutual Fund, UTI Mutual Fund, Sundaram Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, and Canara Robeco Mutual Fund, as well as leading stock exchanges like the NSE, BSE, and MSE, under the guidance of SEBI. His expertise spans Financial Planning, Mutual Funds, Behavioural Finance, Asset Allocation, Estate Planning, Taxation, and Capital Markets.
This is a multifaceted entrepreneur who is enriching the Business Outreach Magazine business leaders’ community. Dr. Chawla has been recognized by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, under RUSA, as a Knowledge Partner for conducting Faculty Development Programs across universities in Maharashtra and Goa in the year 2018. He also serves on the Board of Studies and as an Advisor and Mentor to multiple colleges and universities in Mumbai, Pune, Goa, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh. Recently, he has been appointed a mentor by IIM Bodhgaya start-up and innovation e-cell, which closely works with the State Government of Bihar. Dr. Chawla also successfully organised a global-level career enhancement program and National CSR event with Abhuydaya, an IIT Bombay social initiative.
There have been many challenges along the way but, Dr. Amanpal took them all as valuable lessons of life. He says, “Empowering a single individual with knowledge creates a ripple that can transform an entire society.” One of his most recent initiatives is the Project FLY (Financial Literacy for Youth), an investor education initiative by UTI Mutual Fund, wherein his primary role has been to organize and deliver workshops covering different topics such as financial goal planning, investment planning, risk management, mutual funds and other investment avenues for undergraduate and postgraduate students across India. To date, Dr. Chawla and this team have impacted over 7,000 students under this initiative and are aiming to reach 25,000+ students by the end of the financial year 2025–2026.
