Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase

Brian Armstrong, the CEO of Coinbase, will speak on the future of digital asset legislation during a private meeting with a group of Democrats from the US House of Representatives on Wednesday morning.

The conference takes place as the US Securities and Exchange Commission files litigation against Coinbase and Binance, two of the biggest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, for allegedly failing to register their operations with the agency.

According to a New Democrat Coalition representative who sent a statement via email, Brian Armstrong will discuss a range of relevant topics at the conference, including taxes, national security, privacy, and the environment.
