A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday by Bharat Forge Ltd (BFL) and Paramount Group, a leading global aerospace and technology company, for the development and production of Composite Rotor Blades, Mission Systems, and Stores Management Systems for Medium Lift Helicopters at Aero India.

According to Mr. Guru Biswal, CEO of Bharat Forge’s aerospace division, “This MoU with M/S Paramount is a reflection of our resolve to work towards a “Atmanirbhar Bharat,” to produce specialty technologies that will satisfy Indian and global requirements.

The main objective of this partnership is to establish an Indian “Centre of Excellence” for the design, development, and production of Composite Rotor Blades, Mission Systems, and Stores Management systems. All upcoming programmes for India and around the world will be supported by this design and manufacturing cluster.

Our global connection with Bharat Forge Ltd has gotten stronger over the past five years, according to Clifford Dewell, SVP, Paramount Group. Intensifying our partnership within the aircraft industry is something we are eager to do.

“We are certain that this project will take advantage of the special synergy of our combined skills to address the demand for these systems for Medium Lift Helicopters in India and beyond.

We have accumulated a lot of knowledge over the years, and Paramount has provided Mission Systems and Stores Management systems to a number of armed forces, including the South African and Algerian Air Forces.

He declared that facilities will be developed as centers of excellence for the creation and industrialization of Rotor Blades for all types of Helicopters. The partnership would give all parties a one-of-a-kind chance to streamline qualifying procedures and help both domestic and foreign clients. The “Atmanirbhar Bharat” project will be furthered by this MOU, he continued.

A Guru Biswal, CEO of Bharat Forge’s aerospace division, and Clifford Dewell, SVP of Paramount Group, signed the Memorandum of Understanding in front of top executives from both organisations.
