Airbus said on January 19 that it has signed an HCare Initial contract, a complete by-the-hour services agreement, with Heligo Charter Private Limited for six Airbus H145 helicopters deployed for offshore and onshore operations in India.

According to a press statement from the aircraft manufacturer, Heligo will benefit from Airbus’s HCare Initial program, which will allow the operator to repair planned and unscheduled components within 24 hours and pay a flat fee per hour flown.

According to Heligo, this will help them reduce maintenance expenses and eliminate the need to maintain a regular inventory, resulting in increased fleet availability for simplified operations.

We are proud to be the first operator to offer ONGC a fleet of Airbus Helicopters’ 5-bladed H145 helicopters for offshore operations in India.” Heligo Charters Private Limited’s Chairman, Nayan Jagjivan, said that after these helicopters are delivered this year, the company would have the biggest H145 fleet in India, servicing both offshore and onshore operations.

We congratulate the Heligo team on being granted the latest offshore contract with the H145. This HCare Initial by-the-hour contract, which we just signed with Heligo for their H145 fleet, will guarantee efficient operations and optimum availability,” stated Sunny Guglani, Head of Airbus Helicopters, Airbus India and South Asia.

Airbus believes in offering the greatest mix of support and services to our customers, and we are pleased with our long-standing partnership with Heligo. This is Airbus Helicopters’ biggest by-the-hour deal with an Indian operator, he said.

The H145 is the newest member of Airbus’ twin-engine rotorcraft product line, with built-in mission capability and flexibility, particularly in high and hot operating circumstances.

Airbus Helicopters’ complete services offer, HCare, provides outstanding customer service assistance in five areas, including Material Management, Helicopter Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO), and upgrades.

The HCare Initial By-the-Hour plan will benefit Heligo’s whole fleet of Airbus helicopters under this arrangement, according to Airbus.
