The growth mindset of Nitin Parab:
Nitin Parab is an independent consultant and an expert in pharmaceutical compliance and audits across industries like manufacturing, niche operations, and supply chain networks. His career spans from the technical mastery in chemical engineering to the evolution as the director at Acesst Pharmatech Pvt. Ltd. Nitin Parab is particularly proud of the traditional values of his family that shaped his perspective of perseverance and work ethics. It is genuinely a rare blend of impact-driven leadership and a composed personality. While studying in Mumbai, Nitin got exposed to the city’s thriving industrial and educational ecosystem that culminated in technical knowledge of complex manufacturing systems. Not just a glimpse at a surface level, but to go in-depth and drive towards a positive change for society has always been Nitin Parab’s entrepreneurial goal. He has been engaged in a plethora of areas, from research and development (R&D) to quality control (QC), from production and plant operations to quality assurance and regulatory affairs. Nitin’s auditing expertise has therefore generated an ample amount of corporate productivity and industry reputation.
Strategic leadership leading to the growth of Acesst Pharmatech Pvt. Ltd.:
During the beginning of his career, Nitin Parab invested his academic know-how into R&D, which included “tackling process development and technical troubleshooting, learning the core mechanisms behind formulation and reaction chemistry.” He transitioned into QC, where his job included “testing, analytical methods, and verifying raw material and finished product compliance.” When we analyzed Nitin’s participation in operations, he shared how by working on the shop floor, he learned about manufacturing workflows, equipment operations, and scale-up challenges. Nitin highlighted that this “complete line-to-lab operational background” prepared him for taking up higher strategic/leadership roles in the industry.
Nitin Parab: “I shifted into executive oversight, establishing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and navigating complex international regulatory frameworks.”
The sheer spectrum of Nitin Parab’s industry experience is beyond exceptional. He has grasped skills that have circulated from chemical engineering and plant operations to pharmaceutical compliance.
The editorial was intrigued to learn about Nitin’s passion towards travelling. So, when we asked him about how he balanced his work and passion, the answer was rejuvinating. Once, Nitin spoke about a term “travelling the world in eight dollars.” While it might sound fictional and far from reality, Nitin Parab had a different take on the idea. He consciously pursued a career that allowed him to travel throughout the world.
Exceptional words from Nitin Parab:
Nitin said, “While working at Cipla, I attended a training session where the speaker shared how his profession allowed him to travel globally without personal expense. That pivotal moment solidified my decision to enter the field of auditing and consulting. It offered the ideal path to combine my professional aspirations with my passion for international travel.” Today, Nitin is proud of himself when he says that he has travelled 30 countries.
When looking into the pharmaceutical and food quality auditing, growth is evident. The global landscape has put up stricter norms and regulatory standards, like the US FDA, EU GMP, etc. Factors like wide-scale global supply chains, QMS, and contamination control are the discussion of the hour that aims towards public health safety. Under the lens of a world-class auditor, there will always be the priority of setting higher standards for auditing procedures and contamination control. Although the overwhelmingness of multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance standards, identifying even the most subtle contamination risks with conviction, and balancing rigorous travelling schedules for audits, Nitin Parab loves his vision towards shaping the future of pharmaceutical auditing.
Nitin Parab shares his two cents, saying, “Quality is not an inspection event at the end of the line—it is the discipline built into every process, every standard, and every decision made on the shop floor every single day.”
