Starting his distinguished journey in life from North Canara, Dr. Abhinandan Ballary was often engrossed profoundly by the thoughts of a goal behind corporate success and a high pace-demanding career. Challenges in the rural region of India used to concern him as he used to impart his knowledge while teaching under a tree at Joida Forest Polytechnic and distributing notes to children. A fascinating career spanning over 20 years, Dr. Abhinandan has authored over 80 books and leads editorial strategy for a national magazine. Through the JI Foundation, he focuses on empowering the youth through college lectures, motivational talks and media engagement. Their programs are highly inclined towards drug de-addiction campaigns, career guidance, and showcase 100 weeks of youth inspiration talks on All India Radio.
The exceptional commitment towards welfare and youth empowerment has earned Dr. Abhinandan with awards like the Aryabhata Award – 2016, Uttarakhand Chief Minister’s Award – 2017, Tamas Iconic Award – 2024 and Honorary D.Litt – 2024. Dr. Abhinandan also published the acclaimed novel The Ink and the Influence. The launch date of the novel was graced by the presence of Chetan Bhagat, the great author. There was also challenges like skepticism from the people, whom Dr. Abhinandan aims to help along with several financial setbacks. But he picked up valuable life lessons from those and further remained steadfast in his goals. Dr. Abhinandan Ballary says, “Don’t chase legacy—chase light.
