Nidhi Singh and her spouse Shikhar Veer Singh have been married for more than five years. They originally met while studying B-Tech in Biotechnology in Haryana, and afterwards, Shikhar obtained his MTech from the Institute of Life Sciences in Hyderabad.

He worked as the Senior Scientist at Biocon when he resigned from his job in 2015 to establish his firm, while Nidhi was working with a pharma company in Gurugram and her income package was ₹30 lakh. Both Nidhi and Shikhar belong to a well-settled family, nevertheless, they decided to establish their own company and founded ‘Samosa Singh with their money.
