Less than two weeks remain till the Ayodhya Ram Temple is officially opened on January 22. State Minister of Tourism and Culture Jaiveer Singh announced on Monday that the department will soon begin helicopter services due to the high volume of tourists anticipated for the event.

But the minister did not provide a precise date. “The services will start before January 22.”

“Yes,” the minister responded when contacted on Monday. For devotees visiting the city, the helicopter services will begin. We also intend to begin providing water services. Airport operations have already begun.”

“It will be ensured that all facilities are being provided to devotees who will be thronging the city to witness the inauguration,” he stated.

In light of the anticipated spike in city visitor numbers, he said, the railways’ capacity will also be expanded.

January 22 is the day for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lalla at the sanctum sanctorum of the planned Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct the function.

In an earlier post on December 30, Prime Minister Modi invited people to light “Shri Ram Jyotis” in their homes in preparation for Deepavali on January 22, when the vast Ayodhya Temple will host the Pran Pratishtha ritual.

“We are extremely grateful that this momentous occasion has entered our lives. We must renew our commitment to the nation and reenergize ourselves. To commemorate Deepavali, I implore all 140 crore citizens to light Shri Ram Jyoti in their homes on January 22,” the Prime Minister declared earlier this month during a public event in Ayodhya.

The Ram Temple opening, which is scheduled for January 22 and is expected to attract dignitaries and individuals from various walks of life, is well advanced.

The sanctum sanctorum of the Ram Temple will see the enthronement of Ram Lalla at noon on January 22 by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirath Kshetra Trust.

The Indian people attach immense spiritual, historical, and cultural importance to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama.

Furthermore, “Shri Sunil Ambekar, Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS; Shri Ajay Mudpe, Prant Prachar Pramukh, RSS Konkan; and producer Mahaveer Jain met Alia and Ranbir today and invited them for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony to be held on 22nd January in Ayodhya,” said the statement.
