Talking about 5G and artificial intelligence and its impact on industry, medicine, education, and agriculture, Prime Minister Modi stressed the need to set targets.

India in the 21st century continues to empower its citizens through the use of technology, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday, asking citizens to identify 10 social problems that artificial intelligence can solve.

In a post-budget webinar on Unleashing Potential: Using Technology to Make Lives Easier, the Prime Minister said that every budget in recent years has focused on how easy people can live with help of technology. He pointed out that in this year’s budget, technology and humanity are priorities.

Talking about 5G and artificial intelligence and its impact on industry, medicine, education, and agriculture, Prime Minister Modi stressed the need to set targets. He asked how these technologies could be deployed to benefit ordinary citizens and areas needing special attention. “Can we identify 10 such problems of the society which can be solved by AI,” PM Modi said?

Citing the example of government use of technology, the Prime Minister spoke of Entity’s Digilocker service, where businesses and organizations can store files and share them with government agencies. He suggested exploring ways to expand these services so that more people can benefit from them.

Over the past few years, Prime Minister Modi has informed that several important steps have been taken to support MSMEs and underscored the need to reflect on and identify the obstacles faced by MSMEs.

pointed out that time is money when it comes to business, highlighting the government’s efforts to reduce compliance costs for small businesses, thereby reducing time. The Prime Minister suggested now is the time to draw up a non-essential compliance list as the government has terminated more than 40,000 devices in the past.

The lack of trust between the government and the people is the result of a mindset of slavery,“ PM Modi remarked as he pointed out that the government has won back the trust of the citizens by decriminalizing petty offenses and becoming a loan guarantor for MSMEs.

He also stressed the need to build on best practices from around the world in what other countries are doing to build trust between governments and citizens.

The Prime Minister highlighted the role of technology, which can help create end products that help conquer global markets. He suggested that people shouldn’t limit themselves to the internet and digital technology.

Prime Minister Modi concluded his speech by emphasizing that the success of a budget or any government policy depends on the quality of its preparation while emphasizing the importance of people’s cooperation.

He mentioned India’s talented youth, skilled workforce, and willingness to embrace technology in rural areas and suggested finding ways to make the most of it. “You must discuss how to make the most out of the budget,” he concluded.
