Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the events on Thursday to mark the 2023 National Technology Day. The program also marks the start of the 25th National Technology Day celebrations, which will take place from May 11-14.

World Technology Days are celebrated around the world to recognize the importance of technology in our daily lives and to develop new technologies that can improve our world. Today, people have the opportunity to discuss the latest technological developments together, share ideas, and collaborate on projects. 

The day was established by the United Nations to raise awareness about the role of technology in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Another important technology day is World Internet Day, which is celebrated on October 29.

The day marks the first posting of the Internet, which took place in 1969. The aim of World Internet Day is to celebrate the benefits of Promoting the Internet to raise awareness of the digital divide that still exists in many parts of the world World Artificial Intelligence Day is celebrated on December 16.

The foundations and committed to delivering many projects related to the advancement of science and technology of the country to the country lost more than Rs. 58 billion. The plan aims to strengthen the country’s research facilities and realize the President’s vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.

These projects include Indian Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO-India), Hingoli; Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Jatni, Odisha; and Tata Memorial Hospital Platinum Jubilee Block, Mumbai.

Prime Minister Modi has committed to the following national projects: Fission Molybdenum 99 Production Plant, Mumbai; Rare Earth Permanent Magnet Factory, Visakhapatnam; National Hadron Beam Therapy Facility, Navi Mumbai; Radiology Laboratory, Navi Mumbai; Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center, Putnam; and Women’s and Children’s Cancer Hospital Building, Navi Mumbai.

During the event, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated and visited an exhibition showcasing India’s latest technological achievements. He also issued souvenirs and coins.
