Manish Arya Palabatla is a multi-faceted business leader, who aims to scale business ventures and looks forward to exploring opportunities for growth. Along with the gold and jewelry business, Manish Arya is also leading Radical Bio Organics Ltd., which is a manufacturing unit of ethanol and spirit in Tandur.
Coming from a business family background, Manish Arya Palabatla was a keen observer of manufacturing, wholesale retail and the jewelry businesses. Being a stickler for rational decisions on expansion, brand value and scalability, Manish Arya showed deep interest to pursue his career growing Sri Venkatramana Jewellers. The first branch was established by his father, Satish Kumar Palabatla, in 2013. Manish Arya joined his father’s business in 2022. Since then, in the last two years, they have established three more retail stores and two wholesale businesses in south india.
Looking into the educational background of Manish Arya Palabatla, he completed Engineering in 2016 and an MBA in 2018. Furthermore, Manish Arya Palabatla also completed a Bachelors in Law in 2021. Manish Arya is proactive in expanding Sri Venkatramana Jewellers to Tier 2 cities. With the rising prices of gold, the brand is actively innovating on their products to be more accessible to a diverse market and also get the experience of top-notch designing. It is interesting to understand from Manish Arya’s mindset that Sri Venkatramana is looking forward to initiating a franchise model which will be company-owned and company-operated business model. Reflecting on how far Sri Venkatramana Jewellers have achieved, Manish Arya shares that the first venture of Sri Venkatramana Jewellers started in 2006 which has grown to 14 branches in the state of Telangana.
Diving deep into the Palabatla family, the winning streak started from Satish Kumar Palabatla. Earlier they plunged into the entrepreneurial space with the humble beginnings of running Kirana stores. After 2006, Sri Venkatramana’s store in Shadnagar gained immense success which allowed them to launch their second store in Parigi in 2013 and a third one in Jadcherla in 2014. Eyeing multiple industries and with Manish Arya joining the business, the Palabatla family’s expansion started with Radical Bio Organics. In 2016, he was the COO and used to manage the operations which is soon to be listed on NSE and is valued around Rs. 800 crore.
The business is spread across other industries like the rice industry with Venkata Padmavati Para-boiled Rice Mill in 2018 encompassing about 25 acres. They are one of the pioneers in the district and are scaling to exporting to other countries. The company processes a variety of paddy and rice.
Additionally, they also explored the real estate sector by launching SriKrishna Ventures, dealing in open plots at Parigi and Shadnagar, a firm established in 2004 successfully completed many projects . Manish Arya Palabatla, being the stellar business strategist he is, collaborated with the family and diversified into financial services with Srikrishna Chit Funds & Auto Finance, operating in Shadnagar and Parigi.
It is noteworthy to look into Manish’s leadership that took Sri Venkatramana to great heights of popularity and success after the family relocated to Hyderabad back in 2019. Their story has been featured on several channels like the TV9, NTV, Suman TV and on several Youtube channels. The commitment to the industry has earned Manish Arya and the business the Rashtriya Gaurav Award and the Global Vysya Business Legends Award. We asked, Is your 30 years of age fulfilled with success?
Manish said, “Success doesn’t mean only financially. I got married at 23 to my wife, Pravalika. She is the whole time director in my company. We are having three kids, one son 4 years and two twin daughters 4 months old. This is my success and I dedicate it to my wife.”
The family donated to charitable organizations, built a marriage function hall in Shadnagar and donated to Vysya Satram in Shirdi, Yadari, and TTD. The family even sponsors education for underprivileged students and supports NGOs. He was a part of business organisations of GVBL,VBN and Endaro Mahanubavulu. The family consisting of Palabatla Satish Kumar, along with his wife Aruna, his parents Pandurangam and Venkatamani, his son Palabatla Manish Arya and daughter-in-law Pravalika, his daughter Vaishnavi and son-in-law Varshith Veesamsetty of Casa Decors, and his brothers Shiva Kumar and Anand Babu with their spouses Hemalatha and Sridevi, form a close-knit family. His father-in-law Shiva Kumar and brother-in-law Rohith Kumar are his support system for establishing multiple jewellery stores. Manish Arya Palabatla and the family believe in their ethics and principles saying, “We always can grow up in life and business as long as we are united. This unity is always helping us in many ways of our life. We need to start winning from our home rather than trying to win over the world.” And that is a great thought to learn from.
