Audi, the luxury car manufacturer has recently introduced its newest creation, the Audi Q8 e-tron, in India. This remarkable unveiling comes shortly after its introduction a few months back. The lineup consists of the Audi Q8 50 e tron Audi Q8 55 e tron, Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e tron, and Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e tron models, all showcasing driving technologies.

German luxury car manufacturer Audi has recently introduced the Audi Q8 e-tron, in India after its global debut. The Audi Q8 50 e tron Audi Q8 55 e tron, Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e tron, and Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e tron come with driving features.

Audi shares that the Audi Q8 55 e-tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron offer a driving range of up to 600 km on a charge thanks to their powerful 114kW batteries. On the hand, the Audi Q8 50 e tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e tron provide a driving range of up to 505 km on a charge. Bookings for the Q8 e-tron and Q8 Sportback e-tron have already begun as announced by Audi on August 10.

Expressing his excitement, about this milestone in their electric mobility journey Balbir Singh Dhillon, Head of Audi India said, “Today marks another leap forward as we introduce these electric cars. The larger battery capacity does not extend their range. Also enhances the overall value they offer.”The Audi Q8 e-tron holds a position, in our electric mobility strategy. Serves as a strong foundation for our ongoing efforts to electrify our vehicle lineup. With the introduction of the Audi Q8 e-tron and the Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, we now boast an extensive range of electric vehicles in this segment.

Pricing Information-: 

The Audi Q8 50 e-tron is available for Rs 11,370,000 while the Audi Q8 55 e-tron is priced at Rs 12,610,000. As for the Audi Q8 Sportback models the 50 e-tron variant has a price tag of Rs 11,820,000 while the 55 e-tron is priced at Rs 13,060,000.

Efficiency and Charging-: 

Thanks to their lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of up to 114 kWh (the best in the industry) both the Audi Q8 55 e tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 55 e tron offer a range of up to 582 km and 600 km respectively. This makes them highly suitable for long-distance journeys. On the hand, the Audi Q8 50 e tron and Audi Q8 Sportback 50 e tron come equipped with a lithium-ion battery boasting a capacity of around 95 kWh. These models offer a WLTP-certified range of up to approximately 491 km and 505 km respectively.

Safety Features-: 

To ensure safety, for occupants the cars are equipped with eight airbags.

Audi’s pre-sense basic system takes action to prevent accidents when emergency braking or handling reaches its limits.
