The pharmaceutical business was started by Gaurav Bazari’s father, who lost everything during the 1992 market scam. Gaurav has witnessed the resilience of his father, who started with just Rs.150/- back in the day. After starting a retail medical store in a village, Gaurav’s father expanded his vision of scaling his career and shifted to Jaipur, where the pharmaceutical business took a positive turn. In spite of low sales in the initial days, the business gradually gained traction and today Gaurav reflects on the journey when the business logs crores in transaction. It took time, it took patience and a lot of strategic leadership. Gaurav Bazari cleared GRE and got offers from some of the best institutes in the US but failed to pursue the dream for COVID-19.
His far-sightedness sparked within him a willingness to grow the family business by integrating technology. Back in 2017, he implemented an app, where retailers can place orders and wholesalers can receive those, ultimately championing a seamless business model. Today, this same technology is embraced by several companies in the pharmaceutical industry and scaling their business.

Currently, Gourav Medical Agencies is one of the leading pharmaceutical distributors of Rajasthan with more than 75 distribution of companies, supply chain channels and with a network of 500 suppliers and dealing with about 4,000 customers. Gaurav looks back into his early career days when he used to work as a Medical Representative, delivering medicines door to door, just to understand the operational factors of the industry. It is phenomenal to appreciate the achievement of such an entrepreneur, who chooses proactive efforts rather than just sitting back at home as a business owner.
