Dubai real estate companies offer over 300 jobs to Emiratis at special career fair

The Dubai Land Department recently organised a career fair called ‘The Real Estate Day for Emiratis Employment 2024’. The event was held to connect local job seekers in Dubai with opportunities in the real estate sector.

Over 50 real estate companies participated in the fair, which was hosted at the Address Sky View Hotel. Together they showcased more than 300 jobs suitable for Emirati men and women with different experience levels.

Senior officials from various Dubai government departments attended the event to support it. Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Emirati Human Resources Development Council, said the real estate industry is a major part of Dubai’s economy. He believes Emiratis should take advantage of the opportunities available.

Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid from the Dubai Community Development Authority said they invited Emirati job seekers with at least a high school diploma to attend. This helped the career fair achieve its goal of connecting locals to careers.

Ghannam Al Mazrouei from the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council said their role is to raise awareness about private sector opportunities for Emiratis. They were happy to partner with the Dubai Land Department on this initiative.

Marwan bin Ghalita, Acting Director General of Dubai Land Department, thanked participating companies. He said the event aligns with Dubai’s plans to involve more Emiratis in vital sectors like real estate. It also supports the UAE’s localisation targets under initiatives such as Project D33.

Some of the major services offered by companies at the career fair included accounting, bookkeeping, tax filing, company setup assistance, and business consultancy. Representatives were on hand to discuss opportunities in areas such as finance, administration, sales and customer service.

Emirati job seekers showed strong interest in starting careers with real estate firms. The sector plays an important role in Dubai’s economy and is growing rapidly. This creates demand for skilled UAE nationals.

In conclusion, the ‘Real Estate Day for Emiratis Employment 2024’ was very successful in bringing together companies and potential Emirati hires. It supported the Dubai government’s goal of increasing private sector employment of locals. Both individuals and firms now have better awareness of the career possibilities within the real estate industry. Dubai career fair helped over 50 real estate companies offer more than 300 jobs to Emirati job seekers, supporting localisation efforts in a key economic sector.
