It’s been years since the rumors about Apple launching a fully automated electric car or “Project Titan” have been waving around. But now, there’s a high probability that the launch will take place in 2025, according to New York Post.

In Industry, when it comes to being secretive about upcoming projects, even actors spill out their guts. But Apple has mastered the ability to camouflage its upcoming products. Amid rumors, Apple neither denied nor confirmed any of them.

But during the “Sway” podcast interview, Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, made a vague statement in response to the rumors about manufacturing an autonomous electric car. He said, “The autonomy itself is a core technology, in my view. If you sort of step back, the car, in a lot of ways, is a robot. An autonomous car is a robot. And so, there’s a lot of things you can do with autonomy. And we’ll see what Apple does.”

After Bloomberg’s detailed but still unanswered report on the rumors, Apple’s share price went up by 3.04%, according to Forbes.

Hyundai, another car manufacturer company’s name, was also involved in one of the rumors, which stated that Apple made a deal with the company to manufacture its ‘Apple car.’ CNBC also reported that “Apple is close to finalizing a deal with Hyundai-Kia to manufacture an Apple-branded autonomous electric vehicle at the Kia assembly plant in West Point, Georgia.”If in near future Apple manages to release this infamous car, it will greatly affect Tesla Industry, which currently dominates the self-driving, electric car market.
